Despite the fact that Wyoming is known for its stunning landscapes, its number of residents continues to be the lowest in America and, as a result, the state’s post high school education structure is also small and uncomplicated. The University of Wyoming, which generally enrolls more than 10,000 undergraduate students, is the state’s only community university. Seven (7) community schools make up the rest of the public school system. Wyoming does have a few non-public schools but all of these are for-profit. The University of Phoenix, which has a brick and mortar school in Wyoming, is an illustration of an online college in Wyoming, and many of the non-private colleges feature web-based programs as well.
